Mike Solma

Vice President, Finance

Mike has worked for ECS since 2000 as the chief estimator for our home remodeling projects. He applies his deep background in finance to produce a quality project at a fair price. You will want to talk to Mike about the trade-offs between value and cost for many commonly used material and products in home improvement projects. And do not forget to ask him about how he got his job at ECS—hint, a very satisfied customer.

Paul Rydholm

Vice President, Operations

Paul brings over 30 years of experience in the residential remodeling industry both as an independent contractor and working for ECS. He is our in-house Master Plumber. Paul also oversees all aspects of project delivery and warranty, and he manages our Project Managers. His specialty is translating architectural designs into engineering specifications that meet local and national building codes. Talk to Paul about value engineering to address structural modifications, e.g., if you are contemplating taking down walls for more open space in your home. Ask Paul about the project management process at ECS—what to expect once you have signed a contract for your remodeling project.

James Scampavia

Vice President, Business Development & Marketing

James is the most recent addition to ECS, joining the company after a career spanning various executive positions in engineering and information technology. He is very knowledgeable about local zoning and land use planning. James is establishing relationships with local lenders to assist customers with financing options for their remodeling projects. You will want to talk to him if you are contemplating a major addition or tear-down project. Ask James for an invitation to our next Educational Seminar—programs that we sponsor to educate homeowners on various topics related to residential remodeling.
